Vice Ganda, Karylle reconcile-A A +A
Tuesday, February 25, 2014
COMEDIAN Vice Ganda and singer Karylle patched things up, days after news of their rift made headlines last week.
In Tuesday's episode of "It's Showtime," both television hosts participated in "Sine Mo To" segment of the program. They spoofed the latest Star Cinema movie "Starting Over Again" wherein Vice played as a school dean while Karylle took the role of Ginny, the lead role in the movie.
At some point, Vice approached Karylle to hand her a gold medal but things turned from reel to real.
He hugged the singer and said "Nakaka-miss ka pala." Co-host Anne Curtis could be heard from the background saying "Bati na sila".
Vice and Karylle were a bit emotional after the reconciliation and the former said he doesn't want to leave the show with a heavy heart.
"Gusto kong umalis ng walang kaaway," he said.
The comedian is schedule to leave for the United States for his "i-Vice Ganda Mo Ko sa America" concert with actor Ejay Falcon and comic duo MC and Lassy.
He is scheduled to mount a concert in San Francisco on February 28 followed by a similar event in Los Angeles on March 1.
The reconciliation came after rumors circulated that Vice and Karylle were not in speaking terms for weeks.
In an earlier press interview, Vice confirmed the news and explained that their "tampuhan" started when the singer failed to attend his thanksgiving party for the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival movie "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy".
Things got even worse when Vice found out that Karylle feels uncomfortable with the ViceRylle team up in the popular noontime variety show. He added that Karylle's fiancée, Yael, is also not happy that she is being paired with a gay man.
Karylle and Yael have since apologized to Vice over the misunderstanding. (Sunnex)
