Vice Ganda files affidavit on Navarro rape case-A A +A
Wednesday, February 26, 2014
COMEDIAN Jose Marie Viceral (aka Vice Ganda) on Wednesday submitted his sworn affidavit before the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office on the rape complaint filed against television host Vhong Navarro.
The rape complaint was filed by former Binibining Pilipinas contestant Roxanne Cabañero, who met Navarro through noontime show "It's Showtime."
Viceral said Navarro was with him in a concert in a resort in Cavite on the evening of April 24, 2010, the same night Cabañero claimed she was raped by the host/comedian.
In the name of truth.

On February 19, Cabañero's counsel Virgilio Batalla, confirmed that they filed a rape case against Navarro at the Pasig prosecutor's office.
In her complaint, Cabañero detailed how Navarro sexually abused her during their first meeting through the show.
Cabañero said she was inspired by the courage of Deniece Cornejo who went out in public, claiming she was raped by Navarro on January 22 in her condominium unit at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
Navarro's camp has since denied Cabañero rape allegations.
Lawyer Alma Mallonga, Navarro's counsel, said her client admitted knowing Cabañero but did not say how they were acquainted.
Navarro was given until March 13 to file their counter-affidavit before the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office.
Mallonga said they took precautions by asking Viceral for a sworn affidavit as they know he will be leaving soon for a series of concerts in the United States. (Sunnex)
