COMEDY Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas is not closing her doors for a possible romance with Kapuso hunk Dennis Trillo.

In a recent interview with the actress, Ai-Ai said she's very much single and available while Dennis is not in a committed relationship.

"Si Dennis naman is single. Wala namang sabit yung tao so lahat may possibility naman," she said.

The surprise pairing came after they both received the Dekada Award at the recently concluded 30th Star Awards for Movies organized by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC).

In her speech, the comedienne said that the Kapuso actor is her new inspiration.

Ai-Ai shared that it was close friend and co-Dekada Awardee Aga Muhlach who started the pairing.

They were seated beside each other and had a good talk, prompting Aga to team them up.

"Hindi naman ako yung nagloko. Si Aga yung unang nagloko sa aming dalawa kasi magkatabi kami and sinakyan ko na lang and game naman siya," Ai-Ai said.

Ai-Ai said nobody would not want Dennis to be her boyfriend.

"Ang pogi, mabait, magaling umarte and magaling na artista. Sino ba ang hindi magkakagusto doon," she said.

But the comedienne clarified she's not looking for a romantic relationship right now.

"Tumigil na muna ako (sa paghahanap). Pahinga na muna kasi napagod ako. Hindi naman hinahanap 'yun, darating 'yun ng kusa," she said.

This May marks the first year since she left estranged ex-husband Jed Salang, who allegedly beat her up in their marital home. Their divorce was granted by the Las Vegas court last January.

"Naka-move on na ako and mag one year na din sa May na hiwalay and divorced ako. I need to move on. I live my life one day at a time. Kailangan maging masaya ka muna alone," she said.

When asked if she is looking for new qualities in a partner, the comedienne said: "Nung panahon na nag-asawa ako, gusto ko binata, gusto ko ganito at ganyan. Pero wala pa rin nangyari. Siguro may mga bagay talaga na nakalaan sa atin."

Ai-Ai will be regularly seen in "Dyesebel" starting March 17 on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
