Is Luis Manzano ready to pop the big question?

TELEVISION host Luis Manzano said he already has ideas on how to pop the big question to girlfriend Angel Locsin.

In a recent interview with the Kapamilya talent, Luis said he sometimes think about a marriage proposal and if it happens, Angel will be the first one to know.

"I can’t give details but I have this vague concept of what I want to do. I have one foot to something very simple, very intimate, and one foot to something very grand. If she says yes, you’ll definitely know,” he said.

Luis clarified he haven’t bought a ring yet and would sometimes ask the advice of close friend and business partner, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, on this matter.

“Nagulat ako how expensive they really are. I have no idea about jewelry, so I was expecting that an engagement ring would range from P1 million max. Turns out meron pa palang P2-3 million," he said.

But Luis, being his normal self, still couldn’t help but crack a joke.

“I’ll get her that ring pero sabi ko sa kanya, sa adoration church na lang kami ikakasal," he said.

Kidding aside, Luis said he still has a lot of plans before settling down. But he’s hopeful that the “Legal Wife” actress is “the one.”

He said they put more effort to understand each other, communicate and fix things that didn’t work out when they first dated four years ago.

"We talk. If there’s any issue, we talk. Before we act, we talk. We’re sweeter, which is always good," he said.

"We had a good conversation of our previous love story and we cleared all the issues out. At least now, she knows what I want and at the same time, I know what she wants. With everything ironed out, I guess this is smooth sailing for this new chapter of our love story.”

It’s also a relief for Luis that both their families are supportive of the relationship.

Recently, Angel had dinner with Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Senator Ralph Recto. Luis, meanwhile, organized a birthday surprise for Angel with her family.

“(Angel and Vilma) It was like watching two friends talk. When Angel came to my house, if I remember correctly, my Mom said 'Welcome home.' I could just step back and watch them. Ang sarap lang nilang panoorin making up for lost time," he said.

As for his relationship with Angel’s father, Luis shared: "I would like to think that things are going great. I’m perfectly happy with how he treats me and wala siyang ibang ipinakita sa akin kundi kabaitan. If you would leave me in a room with Tito, we would still talk.” (Sunnex)
