Kim Chiu, Xian Lim to star in 2 movies-A A +A

KAPAMILYA actor Xian Lim confirmed he will be doing two movies with perennial leading lady Kim Chiu.
The 24-year-old recently signed a two-picture contract with Star Cinema, the film outfit of ABS-CBN.
Xian and Kim will also be joined by Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas in one of the flicks.
With the success of "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?" in 2013 and "Bride for Rent" early this year, the Kapamilya actor is hopeful that these new films will garner the same success and support from their fans.
"Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng nanood and sumuporta doon sa previous movies namin ni Kim. Sana dito sa dalawang nakahain sa amin, subaybayan nila kasi marami silang aabangan,” he said.
Aside from the movie projects, Xian is also set to do a family drama series with "Maria Mercedes" star Jessy Mendiola, Ian Veneracion and Carmina Villarroel. The teleserye will be under Star Creatives and taping kicks-off in the last week of May.
Meanwhile, Xian recalled Kim's birthday party in San Francisco, California last month.
According to the actor, they made all the arrangements without Kim's knowledge. Their closest friends attended the Cebuana actress' intimate surprise bash.
"Inikot muna namin siya para makapag setup sa kwarto. Nung una pa nga ayaw magpapasok kasi hindi nga nila room. Buti na lang nagawan ng paraan at nakapasok sila. Nakakatawa pa nga kasi pagkakita niya ng baloon and cake, andoon pa yung presyo," he said.
Xian, who stayed in the United States for a few days after the birthday party, also shared that Kim called him after getting the clearance from the doctors on the minor nose accident she met last week.
"Naka-receive ako ng tawag agad sa kanya. Worried na worried ako. Sinabi niya sa akin and right after she had the check-up, okay na pero iba pa rin pag nakarinig ka ng ganun," he said.
The actor said things are going smoothly between them and he couldn't wait to work again with Kim, who is currently paired with Coco Martin in primetime series "Ikaw Lamang." (Sunnex)
