In October last year, the 25-year-old actor surprised many when he tied the knot with non-showbiz girlfriend Katrina Farinas.

"Yung last two years ng buhay ko, sobrang gulo-gulo talaga, roller coaster kumbaga.

He's thankful to mother network ABS-CBN for the continuous support and always believing in his talent.

Starting July 7, Matt will be seen in newest Kapamilya series "Pure Love," starring Arjo Atayde, Joseph Marco, Yen Santos and Alex Gonzaga.

He will reprise the role of "Scheduler" in the remake of the hit Korean series.

Napaka vital nung role ni Scheduler doon sa istorya nung programa," he said.

Aside from a new show, Matt is also awaiting the arrival of his second daughter, Hailey, his first with Farinas.

"Sobrang excited and sabi ko nga sa wife ko na gusto kong ipa-ultrasound lagi para makita yung baby," he said.

He said life with Farinas made him calmer and happier.

Matt added that he married the best partner, as Farinas is very understanding, patient and supportive of his endeavors.

Siya din talaga nag-aayos ng schedule ko and nakikipag-usap sa handler ko," he said.

As for his other child from another non-showbiz girl, Matt said he gets to see his daughter once a week and everything is working out just fine.

"Settled na kami. Everything is falling into place and malaking pasasalamat ko talaga sa Diyos. Nakuha talaga namin sa dasal," he said. (Sunnex)
