ROBIN Padilla has advised daughter Kylie to look for a "barako" after her recent split with Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica.

Sinaktan na nga ang anak ko e," Robin told the entertainment press on Saturday at the set TV5’s weekend suspense drama "Jasmine."

As for his advice to Kylie, the actor said: "Humanap siya ng barako... barakong Pilipino.” He jokingly continued, "Sabi niya sige daw, pipilitin niya."

Meanwhile, Robin also gave his two cents on wife Mariel Rodriguez's latest guesting in noontime variety program "It's Showtime".

He said that it was Freddie M. Garcia (FMG), former ABS-CBN president, who requested for Mariel's appearance in the show.

Very close and lagi kaming nagkikita. Hindi ko siya pwedeng pagtaguan."

Robin said as long as his wife is happy, he will support her all the way.

(Sunnex)
