ACTRESS Jessy Mendiola feels complete again after reuniting with her British-Lebanese father she had not seen for 14 years.

June 29, 2014 marked a special day for the Kapamilya actress' life as she finally had a chance to hug again her dad.

Mendiola said that even though the communication lines are open, it felt different to finally reunite, hug and see her father in the flesh. She was also lost for words when she finally met him.

Doon ako talaga (naiyak) and nakalimutan ko na yung mga tao sa restaurant," she said in a Cinema News interview.

Palagi niyang ginagawa yun nung bata pa ako. Nung ginawa niya yun ulit, parang bata ako ulit," Mendiola added.

Born in Dubai, Mendiola was only three years old when her parents separated. Soon after, she, her mom and siblings went back to the Philippines to start a new life while her father remained in Bahrain.

She said she had many questions about their situation in the past, but her mother had always reminded them that her dad loves them.

She added she still has so many unanswered questions, but there is proper time for them. She does not want to spoil the last few days of her dad in the country.

"For me, it doesn't really matter. Masaya kami," she said.

The 21-year-old actress said that as a daughter, she is finally complete.

(Sunnex)
