ANGEL Locsin admired how Batangas Governor Vilma Santos handled the hate messages she received from netizens due to her wrong grammar on the dedication card she sent to Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

In an interview by Cinema News, Locsin said Santos proved that she is a good sport and mistakes are all part of the learning process.

Locsin said nobody is perfect, as she defended the mother of her boyfriend, TV host Luis Manzano.

"Natural lang naman na magkamali. In fairness to Tita, ni-recognize naman niya, tumawa lang siya and wag naman na sana palakihin yung issue," she said.

Locsin added that she looks up to Santos even more after the incident.

"Mas naging endearing pa nga kasi yung tinitingala mo ay tao din. Mas lalong nagiging malapit sa puso natin," Locsin said.

As for Manzano, the actress said her boyfriend was cool and candid of the situation and just shrugged off the issue.

Earlier, Aquino posted a photo on Instagram showing a box of ensaymadas with a dedication card given to her by the Batangas governor. The dedication card, however, misspelled the word "truely" instead of "truly" and "bless" instead of "blessed".

The Star for All Seasons said in an earlier television interview that she is far from perfect and mistakes happen in real life.

"I am not saying that I am perfect because nobody is perfect, lahat ng tao nagkakamali at nagkataon na nagkamali ako," she said.

Meanwhile, Star Cinema, the film outfit of ABS-CBN, announced that Locsin and Santos will soon star opposite each other in one movie. (Sunnex)
