IF HIS character in GMA-7 afternoon series "Dading" is torn between two ladies, actor Benjamin Alves said he's a one-woman-man in real life.
"I guess that's a nice problem to have but I never had that kind of problem. Finding one is really hard; finding two is like a jackpot. It never happened to me," the 25-year-old said in a recent interview.
Benjamin also revealed that he is still single and is not going out on dates regularly.
"I'm always at taping. My eyes are open, if it happens, I'm very open to it. The only people I actually hang out with are from work and church because I don't grow up here. I'm alone," he said.
The Kapuso actor added: "I'm already inspired, I'm already in a good place but if any girl could add to that, why would you reject that. Anything that adds positivity to your life, you should always embrace it."
But when asked on settling down and raising his own family, the actor shared he's likely to get married in his mid-30s.
He is still keen to make a name for himself in the business and to work hard to provide a comfortable life for his future family.
"The soonest I consider getting married is at 35. That's my choice but I don't make plans for my life. If it happens anytime sooner... I played this before in movies where a guy falls in love, and I know how powerful that could be, so, who knows," he said. "Pag 35 baka magmadali na ako nun. The time's ticking and I want to have a big family."
When one writer suggested that he might get married first before uncle, actor Piolo Pascual, Benjamin said: "I'm pretty sure mauuna siya! Kung mauuna pa ako, siguradong nagmamadali na ako nun. Mauuna siya… mauuna siya.” (Sunnex)
