‘Breaking Bad’ wins big at 66th Emmy Awards

AMERICAN crime drama series "Breaking Bad" bagged the most number of trophies at the recently concluded 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Held Monday evening at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California, the award ceremony recognizes the best United States primetime television shows, productions and performances for the past year.

Created and Produced by Vince Gilligan, "Breaking Bad" went home with five major trophies, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor award for Bryan Cranston.

The program also bagged the Supporting honors for actors Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn.

Meanwhile, Julianna Margulies was hailed Outstanding Lead Actress for drama series "The Good Wife" while Jim Parsons won Outstanding Lead Actor for "The Big Bang Theory".

Sofia Vergara-starrer "Modern Family" picked three awards, tied with Benedict Cumberbatch's "Sherlock: His Last Vow".
