FOR the first time, Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban will star opposite each other in a new movie.
Director Jun Robles Lana took to Instagram to officially announce the new movie "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" top billed by the two actresses.
"Officially in production," Lana wrote in a post.
The "Die Beautiful" director also clarified that "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" is not another "kabit” movie and will be co-produced by Star Cinema, Lana's Idea First Company, and Quantum Films.
Meanwhile, Panganiban said it's a dream come true for her to work with Santos. The “Banana Sundae” regular said she looks up to the Santos when it comes to acting.
"Nakakawindang. Tinitingala ko siya bilang aktres sa industriya. Nakakaba pa rin maka-eksena siya. Masayang masaya ako na 'di ko akalain na mangyayari pa 'to, makakatrabaho ko siya uli," she said.
Santos, on her part, is excited about the comedy movie. "May puso. Punong puno siya ng punch line pero punch line na very now."
Prior to this upcoming project, Santos and Panganiban shared the small screen in 2001 television series "Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka". (SunStar Philippines)
