Anne Curtis: I'm an addition to SMDC family-A A +A
Saturday, January 29, 2011
KAPAMILYA actress Anne Curtis cleared that she is not replacing GMA Artist Marian Rivera in her latest acquired endorsement.
Anne was chosen to be the newest face of SM Development Corporation, which tapped Marian in their past projects.
"Hindi ko siya pinalitan in all fairness. I was just added to the SMDC family," she noted.
Anne said she does not have any issue with Marian and people should not make a big fuss out of her latest endorsement.
"All of us in the industry and anything that comes our way are blessings to be considered. Things aren't handed to us, we worked for it."
The ABS-CBN talent meantime admitted feeling a bit pressured by the endorsement.
"There is pressure because people will try and make issues out of it. Marian set the standards for the SM Residences and I hope I am able to meet all the expectations of others," said Anne.
Happy with Erwann
Meanwhile, Anne is very much committed to her non-showbiz boyfriend Erwann Heusaff.
Anne said Erwann does not want to enter showbiz and is a very private person.
"Of course, we can't avoid questions but at the end of the day, he's still private," she said.
When asked if she is happy now and contented with her life, the actress said: "Masaya kami, very happy and I think obvious naman."
Anne added she does not have any expectations on the relationship and they are starting it fresh.
"We take it day by day and I just want to be happy. So far naman eh we are both happy."
But she was quick to clear that she is not yet ready to get married and she is more focus in building her career in showbiz and fulfilling all her dreams.
Anne will star opposite Luis Manzano in the upcoming Valentine's movie "Who's That Girl?" (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
