Mariel congratulates Toni for ‘My Amnesia Girl’

AFTER her honeymoon in India, Mariel Rodriguez initiated a move to rekindle her friendship with Toni Gonzaga.

Toni shared that Mariel congratulated her through a text message following the success of her movie "My Amnesia Girl".

“She texted me first and it was a different number. Then she said that it was her,” related Toni.

“Syempre nagulat din ako kasi after a long time of no communication, nawala siya and bumalik siya, eh na shock talaga ako,” she added.

Toni answered Mariel's message and was touched that the latter made sure to send a congratulatory message even though things are not okay between them.

“Yun yung mga magagandang bagay na surprise talaga for me, na gumawa pa siya ng way na bumati. Syempre naaappreciate ko,” said Toni.

Toni said that during the time they were not talking to each other, she missed the good times and the laughter they shared on little things.

She values the friendship and was really affected when she heard negative things thrown at her.

“Matagal na din naman kaming magkakasama eh. Ever since na nag ABS-CBN kami eh kami na yung magkakabarkada. I guess if you really have that kind of bonding, pag nawala yun eh hahanapin mo din yun.”

Right now, the "My Amnesia Girl" lead star is hopeful that everything will be for the better and it will turn out positive not only to her but also for Mariel.

“Ako naman eh hindi ako nagtatanim ng sama ng galit. Mas maganda yung lagi tayong nakangiti kaya ang tinatanim ko lang eh good memories and good vibes.” (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
