Kris is new 555 tuna endorser

MANILA. Kris Aquino targets to have an endorsement in all major companies. (Angela Casauay)

THE talent fee of Kris Aquino for her newest endorsement all went to financing the new television advertisement spots for his brother Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

Noynoy has declared his intention to seek the presidency. He is the standard bearer of the Liberal Party.

“The tax was deducted and then go, no more! It all went straight to Noy's campaign,” Kris said in a press conference held 9501 Restaurant, ELJ Building.

The host-actress, which is also known as Queen of All Media, refused to disclose any figures on her talent fee, reasoning out that "she did not feel the money anyway."

Earlier, Kris and husband James Yap sold their house to add funds for Noynoy's campaign.

Kris's newest investment brings her on the frontline of the "Give me 555 campaign," where she is shown in the television commercial giving high fives to people in the community.

When asked whether the new high five sign could replace her mother Cory Aquino and Noynoy's "Laban" sign (with the thumb and index finger forming the letter "L"), Kris answered with a laugh and said: "I don't think I can dictate what Noynoy will do with his campaign. As far as his campaign is concerned, that's up to them. I won't involve myself anymore,"

Moreover, when asked whether she would serve the tuna brand in Malacañang if her brother wins the post, Kris joked that Noynoy won't bring her to Malacañang anyway.

"Maybe Noy will tell the PSG (Presidential Security Group), don't allow her to enter!" Kris joked.

When the entertainment press laughed at what she said, Kris joked again, "Why are you laughing? I'm sure he doesn't want to. If you're Noy, would you take me? Of course, no."

Kris also said that even if her brother has no wife yet, she will not be acting as the First Lady because he thinks Noynoy has "enough of his sisters already."

"Ask him who (will be his First Lady). With the life he has now, I pity him sometimes because he only sleeps two to three hours a day. I hope whoever will be his partner will give him 100 percent loving support that is need by anyone in that position," she said.

In comparison to fellow Kapamilya star Derek Ramsay's corned tuna advertisement, Kris said Derek's commercial is centered on the body while hers is for mommies.

“Boy (Abunda, who takes care of her endorsements) said that this really brings me closer to the moms out there because we are all looking for one thing: making sure that the budget fits while giving your kids good food, nutritious food because it is tuna and low cholesterol,” she said.

The endorsement caps Kris's target to have an endorsement in all major companies with No. 1 products. (Angela Casauay/Sunnex)
