Not long after the cool, cool White Party held in Mandarin Oriental, Manila’s MO Lounge and elegant nightspot Martinis in June, chic and fiery “ravens” in gothic black partied the night away at the popular bar for the annual Black Party.
The fourth edition was held in partnership with Firma of Markus Schmidt and Richard Danao, Music & Wine of Ines Cabarrus and Elian Habayeb, and Belvedere Vodka, with Moët Hennessy Asia-Pacific-Philippines' Olga Azarcon and Richard Alarcon.
The premium vodka brand from Poland pumped up the energy of the night’s partyphiles as they sipped on Belvedere’s impeccable mix while relentlessly dancing to the enthralling beat of DJs Robby Lopez, Elian Habayeb and Agnes Macasaet, who provided live entertainment all night long.
The group of Stefano de Medici, Alicia Mayer and Jerry Ahmed stole the show as they won best-dressed in their Batman-inspired get-up, along with The “Who I am” Queen, who donned a fabulous and elaborate Victorian-gothic attire.
The very dapper Javier Berenguer-Testa, Martinis’ manager and the hotel’s Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, was all smiles during the shoulder-to-shoulder-packed legendary event that drew an exciting patronage of expats and Manila’s party owls.
