MANILA (Updated 9:38 a.m.) -- American boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. dared Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao to "Step up Punk" and accept his challenge to fight him in Las Vegas.
In his Twitter account, Mayweather called on Pacquiao for a fight on May 5.

"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want," he said.
Mayweather made the statement as Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum is now in the Philippines to discuss Pacquiao's next opponent.
A judge in Las Vegas also gave Mayweather until June 1 to turn himself in to serve a 90-day jail sentence for his guilty plea in a domestic violence case allowing the undefeated boxer to meet contractual obligations for a Cinco de Mayo fight against an as-yet unnamed opponent.
"My jail sentence for a domestic violence case was pushed back because the date was locked in," Mayweather said in his Twitter page.
Pacquiao is still in the top spot of the Ring Magazine's ranking, but came second to Mayweather in the ratings of sports websites ESPN and Sports Illustrated. (Sunnex)
