THE implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the Enhance Basic Education or the K to 12 program is set to be signed on Wednesday.

"Department of Education (DepEd) together with the Commission on Higher Education (Ched) and the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (Tesda) will sign the IRR of the 'Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 (Republic Act No. 10533),' on Wednesday at the Don Alejandro Roces National High School in Quezon City, DepEd said in a statement Tuesday.

"The signing of the IRR will mark the full implementation of this much-anticipated milestone in Philippine Education. This will continue to equip our learners and the entire Filipino nation with a globally-competitive system of education," DepEd said.
