FIFTY-EIGHT more Filipina workers are coming home for Christmas after they were repatriated from Saudi Arabia, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh said.
The embassy said the 58 got their exit visas via the Saudi Social Welfare Authority and General Directorate for Passports (Jawazat).
It added the 58 left for the airport at noon last Monday.
Ambassador Ezzedin Tago said the 58 were all cleared by the airport authorities, adding they boarded their flights back to the Philippines via Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airlines.
The embassy said the 58 are active members of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
The OWWA advanced their repatriation tickets and arranged for their block booking so they can return even if flights to the Philippines are fully booked at this time of the year. (JK/Sunnex)
