No more Amanda-Mika alliance

THE Friday episode of Survivor Philippines Palau (SPP) ended the almost season long alliance of Amanda Colley Van Cool and Mika Batchelor.

Mika, the sexy chef of Survivor Philippines Palau (SPP), was the latest castoff and the 6th member to join the tribal jury.

While Mika was still in the Sonsorol Camp, emotions stirred as the five remaining castaways were trying to decide on who should go next.

Jef, the girl next door from Laguna, was pressured and at the same time emotional because of Mika and Amanda dominating the game and working their strategies to remain in the final two spots.

"Naiinis na lang ako sa kanila dahil yun na nga masyado nilang feeling na leader silang dalawa. Na Survivor is all about them. (I am irritated with them (Mika and Amanda) because they act as if they are the leaders, that Survivor is all about them)," Jef said.

Justine, the queen of Isla Purgatoryo, gave Jef a piece of her mind with what is happening in the island and encouraged Jef to not be affected with the attitudes of Mika and Amanda.

It was also an opportunity on the part of Justine to pursue her plans on staying longer in the game.

Mika, who felt betrayed by Jef's action and her spending more time talking to Justine, decided that she will vote Jeff in the next tribal council.

“The rest of the day, pinakita niya sa’min ni Amanda na basically wala na siyang paki sa aming dalawa, na ang kinakausap niya lang si Justine (The rest of the day she has shown me and Amanda thatt basically she doesn't care for the both of us, that she will only talk with Justine)," Mika said.

Amanda then confronted Jef and personally said she will vote for her.

Charles, the only Raketista from Dagupan, sees the opportunity to play the game with his strategies. He was making alliances with both team and even bragged his acting prowess.

Justine, though believing Charles, is also very hesitant with his actions and fearing he might believe the other alliance.

“Mayroon din akong parang takot na si Charles kasi minsan wala rin sa sarili, baka ma-convince ganyan (I am also afraid thatCharles might be convinced by the other alliance because sometimes he's not in his right senses)," Justine said.

Votes

With Amanda winning the immunity challenge, she was safe from that particular voting process. She also refused to give the immunity necklace to other castaways.

Charles was the first one to vote followed by Justine, Mika, Amanda, and Jef.

Amanda wrote the name of Jef in the parchment and said: "Jef, galit ako sa’yo. Galit ako na hindi tayong tatlo ang matitira, pero mahal pa rin kita (Jef I am mad with you, I am mad because the three of us will not stay in the game but I still love you)."

During Jef's turn, she wrote the name of Mika and said: "Mika, thank you sa lahat. Feeling ko marami kang nasaktan. Tama na. Game over na Mikes, nothing personal (Mika thank you for everything. I felt that you've hurt a lot of people. Enough already. Its game over Mikes, nothing personal)."

Host Paolo Bediones then counted the votes. Jef received two votes while Mika received three.

It was the end of Mika's journey in Survivor Palau. Before leaving, Mika hugged Justine, Jef, Amanda, and Charles.

The tribal jury, especially Tara and Echo were pleased with the result of the sixth tribal council.

In her farewell, Mika said: "Medyo nadi-disappoint ako na hindi ako nakarating sa top three but overall alam kong ginawa ko lahat para makarating sa point na ito (I am a little bit disappointed that I was not included in the top three but overall I know I did everything to make it at this point of the game)."

She added: "Amanda ipakita mo lahat ng kaya mo. I’m rooting for you girl (Amanda, show everybody that you can do it. I'm rooting for you girl)." (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
