AFTER two blockbuster movies, John Lloyd Cruz confirmed that there will be no third movie with Sarah Geronimo coming up yet.
The actor said that Viva Films, the co-producer of the movie, decided not to push through with the third installment, thus Star Cinema did the same.
Updates on President Benigno Aquino III's presidency
John Lloyd said it wasn't really that hard on his part to not pursue the third movie with Sarah because he has received any script in the first place.
“Siguro kung nabasa ko yung script at nalaman ko na maganda pa yung love story nila Laida and Miggy, siguro manghihinayang pa ako ng sobra.”
The actor and Sarah were named Box-Office King and Queen for two straight years (2008-2009) for the success of "A Very Special love" and "You Changed My Life."
Working with Toni and Angel
But the actor will still be shooting another movie hopefully starting this month with the Multimedia Princess Toni Gonzaga.
The two will star in a romantic-comedy, which will be produced by Star Cinema.
Lloydie said they are exploring their characters these past few days so that they will know where the story will lead them into.
Aside from a movie project with Toni, John Lloyd is taping with Angel Locsin for their upcoming television project "Imortal".
The two were taping most of the time in Tagaytay and able to shoot the first three episodes of the show.
“Working with Angel is something I look forward too kasi hindi lang puro work yung napaguusapan namin, pati yung buhay outside showbiz,” he said. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
