MALACAÑANG wished senator Manuel Roxas II and broadcaster Korina Sanchez the best of luck on their wedding Tuesday, Press undersecretary and deputy spokesman Anthony Golez said.
Golez said he is not aware if anyone from the administration had been invited considering that Roxas had been a former trade secretary of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

"We wish him the best of luck. May we offer the bride and groom a lot of prayers for entering into a new kind of relationship and congratulations," he said.
The Roxas-Sanchez nuptials would be held at the Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City, which would be followed by a short get-together with the new couple at the church' yard.
The wedding reception, that was supposed to follow at the Araneta Coliseum also in Quezon City, was scrapped after the couple decided to donate their budget for the reception to the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.
Roxas, the son of the late senator Gerardo "Gerry" Roxas and grandson of the late President Manuel Roxas who founded the Liberal Party, is the running mate of Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, son of the late President Corazon "Cory" Aquino and late senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. who will run for president in 2010.
