Shaun open for showbiz

SHAUN Rodriguez, the hot dad from Zambales, is not closing his doors for showbiz offers.

Shaun, who works at the City Council's Office in Manila as Public Relations staff, said he is "okay" to enter show business if given a chance.

“Pag nabigyan ng chance, okay lang po kung may offer na mag showbiz (If given a chance, it’s okay for me if there's any offer to enter showbiz).”

He added that it will not be a problem on his wife if ever he will enter the limelight because she's used to it being Yul Servo's sister.

Shaun, who failed to continue on in Survivor Philippines Palau (SPP), said it was really his plan to join the first season of Survivor Philippines.

“Gusto ko na sumali, hindi ko pa nakukundisyon yung katawan ko (I wanted to join (SPP season I) but my body was not that conditioned yet).”

He added that he took rigorous work out, even running for hours from Quirino Grandstand to Roxas Boulevard, when Survivor season II audition was announced.

His tribemates Charles, Mika, and Amanda said he is the biggest threat among all the castaways because of his physical strength.

Though booted out, Shaun said it was really his plan to play the game discreetly.

He added that he stayed quietly during SPP especially when the tribal merge took place because those who were very vocal are the ones who are most "likely to be voted out from the game like Louis, Vlad and Troy."

Shaun said only 40 percent of his true personality was shown in SPP because he needed to "maintain a certain attitude" to stay longer in the game.

He reiterates that they will still remain friends (other castaways) even after Survivor. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
