Friday, December 2, 2011
BRITISH sports icon David Beckham remains tight-lipped about his future in football as his five-year contract with the Galaxy, who recently won the Major League Soccer crown, ends this month.
Although the media who covered his arrival for a friendly match with the Azkals had expected this, Beckham, however, still gave a glimpse of what lies ahead.

“I’ve been lucky enough to be part of some of the best teams in the world and be successful. I’m very proud with the time I spent here with the (Los Angeles) Galaxy. It might continue, but at the end of the day, I haven’t made a decision yet," he said.
Reports said the 36-year-old football star might suit up for club teams in Europe.
For now, Beckham said he is looking forward to play in the Olympics, which will be held next year in his hometown.
Beckham, who plays midfield, captained the England national team from 2000 to 2006 and also played for football giants Manchester United, A.C. Milan, and Real Madrid.
“Having the Olympics in London next year, I would love to be part of the GB (Great Britain) team especially that it’s going to be where I grew up as a child,” he said. (Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
