MARATHON participants of the first Timex Run will not only enjoy the road race but they will also be able to watch the boxing match of Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto live.

The 3 kilometer (km), 5km, 10km and 21km events will be held on November 15 at the Bonifacio High Street in Global City, Taguig.

Registration has started last October 4 and will go on until November 9. For the 3km race, registration fee is at P400; 5km and 10km at P600 and 21km at P750.

A complete race kit and event freebies will be given away for all runners while the first 3,000 participants will also get a race singlet.

The top three female and male runners will also receive watches from Timex, Nike shoes, cash prizes, gift certificates and gift packs from event sponsors.

Participants can also take photos with running coach Rio dela Cruz and Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual.

Race finishers can then watch Filipino boxing icon Pacman take on Puerto Rico's boxing star Cotto. The fight will be played live on an LED screen courtesy of Cignal and Smart Telecommunications.

According to coach Rio, who is also the organizer of the running event, finishers can enjoy an eat-all-you-can brunch buffet courtesy of Paul Calvin's Deli for P500 per person while watching the fight.

Pacquiao will make history in the world of boxing if he wins his fight with Cotto as this will give him a record title on his seventh weight division.
