MANILA – National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales will fill the post of Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, says Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita Saturday.

Ermita said Gonzales will lead the defense department in a concurrent capacity.

Teodoro is resigning from his post on Monday to focus on his preparations as the administration’s standard-bearer in the May 2010 elections. On Friday, Teodoro announced that actor-politician Edu Manzano has accepted his offer to be his running mate in next year’s political race. (Sunnex)
