PRESIDENTIAL spokesperson Edwin Lacierda announced Friday morning that August 30, a holiday.
The declaration on August 30, National Heroes' Day, as holiday came after MalacaƱang reviewed the Proclamation 1841 signed by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo that declares holidays for the year 2010.
Lacierda added that the Aquino administration will review the holidays in a case-to-case basis parallel to the decision on declaring August 21 a holiday instead of August 23 in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day. (Sunnex)
