MUSICIAN Ed Sheeran announced that some of his shows in Asia will not push through as planned after he figured in a bicycle accident.
Sheeran said on his Facebook page Wednesday, October 18, that his shows in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo, and Hong Kong will not happen as planned, as his doctors confirmed he had fractures in his right wrist and left elbow.
"A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future," he said.
The singer-song writer told his followers on Monday that he had "a bit of a bicycle accident."
Sheeran is scheduled to hold his Asia tour in Taipei, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Philippines.
His show in the Philippines is set to be held on November 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
“I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details,” he said.
Sheeran’s fans sent him get well soon messages on social media.
