Fire hits Misamis market (9:04 a.m.)

FAULTY electrical wiring was eyed as the reason behind the fire that hit a public market in Misamis Oriental province early Saturday.

Reports said that about P36 million worth of properties were razed by fire in Agora public market in Gingoog City about 1 a.m. Saturday.

The fire reportedly started from a stall owned by one Dodong Oliveros that spread throughout 500 other stalls.

No one was injured in the incident.

Last May this year, the second storey of Agora public market was also hit by fire that caused million worth of damage. (Sunnex)
