SENATOR Jinggoy Estrada turned down the Nacionalista Party’s (NP) offer to be a senatorial guest.

Estrada said his decision to refuse is to stop talks about him turning his back on his father, former president Joseph Estrada, who will run for president under the party Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.

"Maraming nag-i-speculate na tinatalikuran ko na ang partido ng aking ama sa Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino kaya ginawa ko po ito (I did this because a lot of people are speculating that I am turning my back on my father's Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino)," Estrada said. (Sunnex)
