MANILA -- Executive Secretary Ermita on Wednesday announced seven personalities highly considered to be included in the Lakas-Kampi-CMD senatorial slate.

As the party president, Ermita disclosed that the party is fielding reelection Senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla” Jr. and Lito Lapid; Cabinet Secretaries Sivestre Bello III and Francisco Duque III; Binalonan Pangasinan Mayor Ramon Guico, who is the president of League of Municipalities of the Philippines; veteran media personality Rey Langit; and businessman Jess Aranza.

“As of now we are not thinking of filling up the entire 12 because we want to have a compact team to be able to, shall we say, have better chances of winning because we are very deliberate in our choice,” he said. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
