LPA spotted off Northern Luzon (6:10 p.m.)

MANILA -- The state weather bureau reported a low pressure area 630 kilometers east off Northern Luzon but cited that no tropical cyclone existing within the Philippine's area of
responsibility.

In its 5:00 p.m. bulletin Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the whole country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Residents along these areas are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures while fishing boats and other small sea crafts are also not advised to venture out into the sea. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
