SubscribeTHE Leonids meteor shower will have its major peak in Asia. It will also appear in some parts of the United States.
In Metro Manila, the outburst of the meteor shower can be seen from 11 p.m. on Tuesday until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
However, the Visayas region might fail to see the shower clearly compared with other cities and provinces.
The report said the presence of an intertropical convergence zone (ICZ) will overshadow the skies in the Visayas during the meteor shower.
A hundred of Leonids meteors are expected to appear. (Sunnex)
