A PULSE Asia Survey conducted from October 22 to 30 showed an increase in the number of Filipinos distrusting and disapproving of the performance of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

From 42 percent in August, President Arroyo’s distrust rating increased to 52 percent in October, and her disapproval rating also increased from 43 percent in August to 51 percent in October.

Pulse Asia conducted the survey among 1,800 respondents. The result suggests that one in every two respondents disapproved of the president’s performance.

The President's approval rating, on the other hand, is steady at 21 percent. (Sunnex)
