MANILA -- Government has no plans of lifting soon an executive order that places a price cap on oil products in Luzon.
(EO) 839
This was according to National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) Chief Augusto Santos based on the result of the Cabinet meeting held by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in Loboc, Bohol Tuesday.
Santos said the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) will still have to determine if the country, particularly Luzon, is still under a state of calamity before lifting Executive Order (EO) 839. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
