Monday, April 5, 2010

MANILA -- The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) National Headquarters Operation Center reported on Monday that a total of 328 patients were given first aid and blood pressure check-up during the Holy Week.

The PRC said that of this number, 31 people were served with first aid treatment and 124 clients were attended for blood pressure check-up from March 31 to April 4.

But the PRC Operations Center clarified that the numbers may still vary as reports from the Red Cross chapters nationwide are still being gathered.

The collated data came from reports submitted by the PRC National Headquarters, Pangasinan-Dagupan, La Union, Alaminos City-Western Pangasinan and Valenzuela Chapters.

A total of 66 volunteers and three staff of the PRC Pangasinan-Dagupan
City Chapter were mobilized in 12 designated first-aid stations.
