MANILA -- Miss Universe fourth runner-up Maria Venus Raj breaks her silence on the word war between Cebuanos and former beauty queen Gloria Diaz.
Raj, who visited the House of Representatives wearing a cream-colored dress, told reporters that she has not watched the interview with Diaz, belittling the Cebuano people.
"Narinig ko na yung news pero hindi ko napanood mismo yung sinabi ni Ms. Gloria, hindi ko napanood kung ano yung reaction ng mga taga-Cebu about that," she said.
"I think hindi ako yung proper na tao na magsabi or magjudge kung tama ba talaga na i-declare siyang ganon," Raj added, referring to the persona-non-grata resolution issued in Cebu last week.
