MANILA -- Richard Gutierrez expressed excitement over the celebration of his birthday on January 21.

Although he prefers to have a simple birthday celebration, Richard said it will be special because of the presence of his

family, friends especially his on-screen partner KC Concepcion.

“I just want a very simple and quite birthday. Of course KC is invited and it’s going to be very intimate,” Richard said in a

television interview.

Richard and KC are currently in Coron, Palawan for the shooting of their impending movie “When I Met You.” They will stay

in the island for five days with one rest day for the two of them.

Asked what they are planning to do on that one day break, Richard said: “We’ll be exploring the island and make the most

out of that one day.”

KC, in return, said she is excited with their taping in Palawan and she is also looking forward to Richard’s surprise getaway

plan. “I’ll leave it to Richard. He is good in making surprises.”

Parent’s reunion

Last Friday, KC witnessed the reunion of her parents Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta at her mother’s special birthday

concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

KC, who looked so happy at that moment, thanked God for granting the wish she has always prayed for.

“More than anything, I am so happy and I thanked God because He choreographed all this,” she said. (JRDB/Sunnex)
