MANILA -- The Philippine Patriots is set to resume basketball action on November 7 in the Asean Basketball League (ABL).
They will face the Singapore Slingers in Round 5 of the tournament.
The Patriots were supposed to battle the Brunei Barracudas first in Round 4 but due to Typhoon Santi, the match was cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Singapore Slingers has a clean slate of four wins while the RP representatives have 2 wins and 1 loss.
It was a 96-72 decision for the Slingers defeating the Indonesia Satria Muda BritAma last November 1.
Former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Al Vergara plays for the Slingers as one of the imports.
The ABL tournament is participated by six Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
