MANILA -- Malacanang on Friday declared September 10 as regular non-working holiday.
Under Proclamation 26, there will be a nationwide observance of the end of Ramadan also called as Eid’l Fitr.
This is the government's way in honoring Muslim rituals as they honor celebrations of other religions such as Roman Catholic.
The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
