MANILA -- The Nacionalista Party (NP) bets led by standard bearer Senator Manny Villar and his running mate Loren Legarda have filed their certificate of candidacies Monday morning.

Also present were its senatoriables Atty. Adel Tamano, Atty. Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana, Susan Ople, Ramon “Mon-Mon” Mitra, Col. Ariel Querubin, Bongbong Marcos and Senator Pia Cayetano.

Environmental advocate Legarda said she is proud of the NP slate because it is a “slate of pagkakaisa.”

“Lahat ng aspeto at grupo ay represented sa slate (All aspects and groups are represented in our slate),” added Villar.

Villar, who grew up in Tondo, said their COC filing is the beginning of their advocacy to uplift the status of poor people. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
