CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Former Third District congressman and City Mayor Reynaldo Aquino said he still has until November 30 to decide on his political plans.
Aquino issued the statement amid reports that he will seek again the mayoralty post here next year.

"I will call for a press conference before November 30 to announce if I will run or not," Aquino told Sun.Star Pampanga over the weekend.
It was learned that several groups, including his supporters, have been clamoring for Aquino's return to politics.
Aquino admitted that it is a big factor if President Arroyo will invite him to run under her political party but said he has not decided yet.
If he decided to run, Aquino will face two-term Mayor Oscar Rodriguez in the mayoralty race here next year.
Aquino lost to Rodriguez in the May 2007 elections.
Aquino is the current president and chief executive officer of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth).
He said he is now satisfied with his present position, which made him closer to the people, especially the indigents.
According to Aquino, he had visited several places around the country where he distributed Philhealth membership cards to poor folks.
