HairExchange: One Year in the Beauty Industry
Sunday, September 18, 2011
BUSINESSWOMAN Germie Villanueva believes that every beauty shop that capitalizes on quality and honesty of service would always make it in the harsh world of competitive beauty service industry.
She was right. Other shops that went up along the same time with her HairExchange beauty shop have all folded up, leaving her shop and a few competitors still up and running. And now on its second year of operation, the shop has seen vibrant names avail of its services.

“The beauty industry is so dynamic and people would always look for shops that would cater to their every minute needs. It’s a business that centers on being able to adapt to changes in the beauty industry. We try to keep up with new trends without compromising services,” Villanueva said.
Villanueva boasts of the chic design of the salon. From neo-classical backdrops and the black and white motifs, the salon area is a picture of elegance that would surely give every customer a feel of beauty.
Villanueva said their success is credited to a very skilled support staff and artists that have been doing the business talk and busy taking care of the regular customers that come to the salon.
“The salon business is a service-centered thing. You need people that are really talented at enhancing the beauty of people. These same people interact with the customers. If they are not any good, they would surely scare away customers,” Villanueva said.
Hair Exchange offers all hair services from trendy haircuts to hair coloring to hair extensions a girl would love, and in competitive prices.
With the unique ambiance and friendly stylists, a girl is sure to be in good hands. For its anniversary promo, HairExchange is offering 25 to 30 percent discount on major services.
Villanueva said that HairExchange does not just capitalize on rich clientele but also caters to yuppies and middle class clients who would like to get the best value for their money.
“We hope to see another year ahead with new innovations and a stringer client line,” Villanueva said.
