The Tune Hotel has invested $35 to $70 million in the Philippines to fund the construction of at least seven hotels in the next two years.

Six more hotels will be erected in Cebu City, Ermita Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Makati, Origas, and Quezon City.
Tune Hotel chief executive officer Mark Lankester said the hotel only gives customers what they need so they don’t pay for other amenities that they will not use.
Extra services and supplies are offered on a “pay-as-you-use” basis including toiletries, air-conditioning, television, refrigerator, telephone, wifi and others.
Guests who do not want to use the TV set or the air-conditioning unit may ask the hotel management to exclude these from their bills.
Lankester said they locate in central business and leisure areas so that guests will not have to take long rides to get to tourists attractions, entertainment, food and beverages, and shopping centers.
He added that the Philippines has a lot of opportunities in terms of tourism but the price of hotel rooms are expensive.
According to him, this is a good opportunity for Tune Hotel to introduce its brand to the market and offer an alternative to travelers.
Tune Hotel is part of the Tune Group, owned by Tony Fernandez, founder and chief executive officer of low-cost airline Air Asia.
