CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The LausGroup of Companies (LGC) on Tuesday inaugurated its Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf franchise located along the Event Centre Boulevard at the LGC Complex in this city.
The flagship store is part of the company’s Event Center Restos, which also opened casual dining outlets Dencio’s and Pancake House.
According to LGC Chairman and Chief executive Officer Levy P. Laus, the newest addition is one way the company reaches to its customers, employees, and locals of the community, “one cup of coffee and tea and at a time.”
The American brand, known for its premium gourmet coffee and exotic tea varieties, remains a dominant player in the beverage industry, globally.
“It’s about time we have a world-renowned brand like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf here in San Fernando. This venture is dedicated to our employees, patrons of the LausGroup, and most of all, our kabalens,” he shared.
He noted that the two-storey coffee shop exudes the latest Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf design and concept. He added that establishment also boasts of a drive-thru facility which is a first in the region.
“This is the third store in the country and the first outside Metro Manila to have a drive-thru facility. We’re pioneering this type concept, as we want to provide convenience to our customers who are always on-the-go,” he said.
Moreover, the executive disclosed that the LausGroup is eager to expand its Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf business in Pampanga.
“For Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, we will have another one or two in the pipeline. We are planning to open one in Clark, and we’re currently in talks about another branch here in San Fernando,” he relayed.
“By the end of next year, we’re expecting a minimum of four Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf franchises,” he continued.
Laus concluded that the new Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will complement other establishments around the complex including the much anticipated Microtel by Wyndham Pampanga. The hotel is expected to open by 2018.
“Very soon you’ll see Microtel Pampanga and maybe another building by the last quarter of next year. Hopefully, we can develop more of this 9.3-hectare complex to contribute to growth and development in the City of San Fernando,” he said.
