CEB holds hubs seat sale; expands domestic routes

ASIA’S third-largest low-cost carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB) offers a seat sale for its Cebu and Clark hub flights as low as P499 from July 23-26, 2010, for travel from September 1 to October 31, 2010.

CEB flies the most extensive network within the Philippines. It flies to 43 destinations direct from Manila, 19 destinations direct from Cebu, 5 destinations direct from Davao, and 5 destinations direct from Clark.

Up for grabs are P499 “Go Lite” seats from Cebu to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, Zamboanga or Pagadian.

CEB’s Clark hub flights are also on sale. Aside from the P499 Clark-Cebu seats, those traveling from Clark to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau or Singapore can also avail of P1,499 “Go Lite” seats.

Meanwhile, those traveling from Manila to Jakarta can avail of P1,999 “Go Lite” seats, which is 50% less than the lowest year-round fare for the Manila-Jakarta route.

Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“CEB offers the most number of flights, routes and frequencies within the country with our hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao. We recently expanded by adding Cebu-Pagadian, Manila-Pagadian and Manila-Surigao to this list this year, so we operate a total of 52 routes in the Philippines,” said CEB VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

“This gives our passengers the maximum convenience when it comes to traveling within the Philippines. Along with CEB’s trademark low fares and youngest aircraft fleet in the country, both foreign and local travelers get the best travel product from CEB,” she added.

Based on Civil Aeronautics Board data, CEB overtook Philippine Airline’s passenger numbers in the first quarter of 2010, making it the Philippine’s largest airline. CEB is slated to begin flying to Brunei on August 21, and to Beijing on September 5, 2010.
