With a sumptuous breakfast waiting for residents, guests and Landco Pacific officials/partners, the early affair was successfully held.
In attendance to grace the event were Dr. Leo Lazatin, President of Central Weyland Properties/Land Owner/Joint Venture Partner of Landco Pacific for WoodGrove Park; Alfred Xerez-Burgos, Jr., President and chief executive officer (CEO), Landco Pacific Corporation; Carmen Lazatin, wife of Dr. Leo Lazatin; Councilor Jimmy Lazatin; City of San Fernando Mayor Oscar Rodriguez; Gerard Marcelo- Vice President, Hometown Communities, Landco Pacific; Catherine Yosuico, Project Head, WoodGrove Park; and Peng Lazatin.
The road was named after Don Serafin Lazatin to give honor and respect to him and his family. Don Serafin was married to Encarnacion Singian and had eight children (Cristino, Ester, Corazon, Remedios, Anita, Consuelo, Jesus and Carmen).
The land where the Woodgrove project is located is a result of the combined inheritance of Serafin and Encar.
Serafin was a respectable and prominent figure in San Fernando, a recognized socio-civic leader, a municipal councilor, and a big supporter of Red Cross.
He has been a director of the National Life Insurance, a co-founder and President of Pasudeco which is the first Filipino-owned sugar mill in Central Luzon.
He was also a co-founder of San Fernando Electric Company (Sfelapco). He was also benefactor of the diocese of San Fernando and numerous seminarians, and involved himself in various religious organizations.
The new-named road has been developed by Landco Pacific Corporation through the Woodgrove project elevating it, creating a new height, thus making the road flood-free.
Woodgrove Park proudly belongs to the home communities category proudly developed by Landco Pacific Corporation. These are master planned developments focused on the needs and demands of first-home buyers.
Landco Pacific Corporation has its leisure philosophy seen with the way the amenities are planned, their architecture design, and the feel of the whole community.
And through its ace developments, it has continuously improved existing roads and infrastructures enhancing the project features and the locality that it serves.
