CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Trim up and be merry, ye fashionistas!
A new, exclusively for “her” and upscale ladies boutique, the “Duquesa,” just opened its doors and wardrobe sets right at the heart of this bustling city. The sassy corner could be found along General Hizon Avenue, right across the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Tuesday’s grand opening was simple and modest, but was sassy enough to draw a large bunch of fashionable ladies, which was described by blessing officiating priest Fr. Mon Torres as “rather discriminating with very good taste.”
The “Dukesa” proprietress Duke Laus-De Jesus, was ecstatic with the pre-Christmas launch of the shop with all its top of the line apparel and accessories for women.
“After thinking a lot of names for the store I decided to coin it after my name because I do love shopping for women like me. We are going to be a personalized shop and it will reflect our passion for clothes which Dukesa will be known for,” she told Sun.Star Pampanga.
She said that Dukesa’s lines are sourced from imported sources and boast of really good quality, aside from their picture perfect looks.
“Most of them are signature brands but ladies will be surprised at how affordable their prices are, even as much of it comes from Hong Kong and Bangkok,” she said.
Just after the ribbon was cut, eager shoppers went into a frenzy fitting and trying on, of course buying the choice merchandise.
Gracing Dukesa’s launch were the pretty Laus ladies who were led by no less than Laus patriarch Third District Board Member Ceferino “Pinong” Laus.
As one shopper said, Dukesa is truly a fashionista’s haven sans the pinch on the pocket.
