In his report, Dayag said that Herrera broke into Bayogcinco’s premises by destroying the padlock using a hard instrument.
Gaining entry, Dayag said the suspect carted away a laptop worth P20,000 and cash amounting to P23,000.
Bayogcinco, however, caught Herrera red-handed and immediately called the police for assistance.
A team led by PCI Fernando Lansangan urgently responded to the call and took the necessary actions.
Recovered from the suspect were a bladed knife, a metal scissor, and the stolen items.
Dayag said the suspect will be charged with robbery and illegal possession of deadly weapons. (Lawdenmarc Decamora)
