Gastronomia 6: A Hotel and Restaurant Management Workshop and Culinary Skills Competition

GASTRONOMIA 6 will hold its grand finals on February 8 & 9, 2010 at the Grand Ballroom of Holiday Inn Clark. With fifteen Colleges and Universities participating and over one thousand two hundred students joining this year’s Gastronomia 6 workshop at Holiday Inn Clark, the two day workshop’s objective is to impart firsthand knowledge of basic hotel and restaurant service to HRM students, majority of who were in their first or second year.

Schools like College of Immaculate Concepcion, Angeles University Foundation, Gordon College, Systems Plus, La Fortuna College, Columban College, ACLC Pampanga, St. Joseph College, AU-Phinma, Centro Escolar University, Eastwoods Professional, Guagua National Colleges, Jose Feliciano College, Magsaysay Memorial College, Ramon Magsaysay Tech. University and Our Lady of Manaoag College participated in this year’s event, which was in cooperation with the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (Cohrep) Central Luzon, Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (Tesda), Commission on Higher Education (Ched) and supported by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Central Luzon.
